Who is Dallas Richardson?

Dallas didn’t come into the trades from the outside, he grew up in them.
Raised in Sandpoint, Idaho, he worked alongside his dad in excavation and construction crews that built roads, installed sewer and water infrastructure, and helped construct some of the largest homes in the exclusive Dover Bay community.
When the 2008 recession hit and construction dried up, Dallas followed the work to the oilfields. He spent years on rigs across North Dakota, Louisiana, Texas, and Colorado before eventually landing on Alaska’s North Slope helping build one of the largest land rigs in the world.
He’s seen both sides of the trades - the opportunity and the cost.
He’s watched companies collapse during economic downturns, seen friends lose their lives in the oilfields, and experienced firsthand the pressure that comes with working in some of the toughest environments in America.
Today Dallas works with blue-collar business owners across the country through Sky Tower Counsel, helping them keep more of what they earn through smart tax strategy and financial structure.
He’s also witnessed the explosive construction boom that reshaped North Idaho during and after COVID, proving again that the trades remain one of the most powerful wealth building paths in America.
The Skilled CEO podcast exists to restore respect to the trades and give a voice to the owners carrying the load.
